IPC-The Hospitalist Company Strengthens Presence in San Antonio with Acquisition of Hospitalist Practice

IPC–The Hospitalist Company announced today that it has strengthened its presence in San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas with the acquisition of the Texas Inpatient Physician Association (T.I.P.A.).

North Hollywood, Calif., August 8, 2007, IPC–The Hospitalist Company announced today that it has strengthened its presence in San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas with the acquisition of the Texas Inpatient Physician Association (T.I.P.A.). The newly acquired practice includes four full-time hospital medicine physicians. Currently, the doctors provide hospitalist services to Baptist Medical Center, serving the San Antonio community, and Texsan Heart Hospital, focusing primarily upon cardiovascular care.
