Rene is an 8 year veteran of the IPC management team. As executive director for the Chicago and New England regions, Rene directs IPC Hospitalists who provide inpatient care in various practices around the greater Chicago area, as well as heading our recent expansion into Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Before joining IPC, Rene worked for 2 Catholic health systems in Washington where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of 9 clinics with 20 employed providers. He also was the regional vice president of payer and network development for Catholic Health Initiative West based in Tacoma and vice president of business development for Anaheim Memorial Hospital in California. Prior to this, Rene was chief executive officer of Good Samaritan Medical Practice Association and vice president of marketing and business development for the Hospital of Good Samaritan, both in Los Angeles. -

Deirdre Graeme joined IPC in January 2008. Deirdre received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences from Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania in January 1990. She also received her Master of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Connecticut, in Storrs, Connecticut in 1993. Deirdre has 15 years of clinical management experience, specifically related to acute inpatient rehabilitation which allows for IPC to provide exceptional resources to our partner facilities. Prior to joining IPC, Deirdre was the director of operations for a medical rehabilitation practice of 38+ physicians and mid-level providers. Prior to that, Deirdre spent 12 years at both the regional and facility level as director of clinical services for one of the nation's largest rehabilitation companies. -

Chris Wasel joined IPC in May 2011. Chris has 20 years in health care management including experience managing inpatient and outpatient operations, dental and medical practice practices, and mobile diagnostic services. Prior to joining IPC Chris was Executive Director of a skilled nursing and rehab center and outpatient rehab center based in Massachusetts. Chris was also the Chief Operating Officer for a dental and medical practices organization based in Massachusetts and operating in multiple states. Prior to that, he operated the New England region of a mobile radiology business for a national organization. Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Policy and Management from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH in 1990. He also received his Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, Boston, MA in 1996.
