Rene is an 8 year veteran of the IPC management team. As executive director for the Chicago and New England regions, Rene directs IPC Hospitalists who provide inpatient care in various practices around the greater Chicago area, as well as heading our recent expansion into Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Before joining IPC, Rene worked for 2 Catholic health systems in Washington where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of 9 clinics with 20 employed providers. He also was the regional vice president of payer and network development for Catholic Health Initiative West based in Tacoma and vice president of business development for Anaheim Memorial Hospital in California. Prior to this, Rene was chief executive officer of Good Samaritan Medical Practice Association and vice president of marketing and business development for the Hospital of Good Samaritan, both in Los Angeles.
