Sandy Peterson, PhD, joined IPC in the newly created position of Executive Director of the Kansas City region in December 2010. Formerly, Dr. Peterson was CEO of Peterson Management Services, in charge of management operations for Hospital Inpatient Management Services (HIMS) prior to its acquisition by IPC. Sandy brings over fifteen years of experience in physician and healthcare organization management. Dr. Peterson received his PhD in Organizational Communication as well as his Masters in Speech Communication from Indiana University in Bloomington IN. Sandy received his Bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater WI. Sandy is a member of the Greater Kansas City Medical Managers Association (GKCMMA), the Medical Group Managers Association (MGMA), the Human Resources Management Association of Kansas City (HRMA-KC), the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM). -

Gary Larson joined IPC as Director of Business Development in December 2010. Prior to joining IPC, Gary service as the Chief Operating Officer for Peterson ePractice Advantage for nearly 10 years. Gary currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Kansas City Medical Managers Association as the Treasurer. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1985. Gary is also a Certified Medical Practice Executive through the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). -

Gloria Humphrey, a Director of Physician Staffing, joined IPC in 2008 after previously recruiting hospitalists for Cogent Healthcare. She started in physician recruiting more than 17 years ago with Quorum Health in Nashville, serving for eight years at HCA MidAmerica Division and Tennessee hospitals, recruiting all specialties. Gloria also worked for Cookeville Regional Medical Center before joining Cogent, where she recruited hospitalists in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Iowa and Wisconsin.
Gloria is a founding member and four-year officer of the Tennessee Association of Healthcare Recruiters. She received her CMSR in 1995 and she has a BBA degree from Austin Peay State University. She is an active member of ASPR.
