Internal Medicine Hospitalist (Moonlighter/PRN)

IPC The Hospitalist Company is seeking BC/BE, Internal Medicine trained physicians, who are interested in supplementing their income and/or seeking to keep their inpatient skills current by working on an as needed basis with our local hospitalist groups.

2. Real Estate. Affordable housing options abound in the Tri-Cities, which features property taxes below the national average and very reasonable costs.

The Tri-Cities is an excellent place to raise a family, given its good public school system, its charm and values, its many school -age sports opportunities sponsored by the cities of the region and its exceptionally low crime rate.  Families have more disposable income since Tennessee has no state income tax.
4. Culture. Music has a strong presence in the Tri-Cities (Bristol is the birthplace of country music), as do other performing arts, historical venues, and regional fairs and festivals.
5. Recreation. Hiking, fishing, hunting, biking, white water rafting, skiing (both water and snow) and wonderful climbing opportunities in the nearby Appalachian Mountains are among the recreational pursuits enjoyed by Tri-Cities residents.  For NASCAR fans, Bristol International Speedway is located right here in Bristol, Tennessee.  In the fall, a ninety minute drive brings you to UT Football, an obsession of the region, closer to a religion than a sport.
6. Weather. The Tri-Cities has four distinct seasons and a moderate climate; average summer highs are 85 degrees, while winter lows are 26 degrees. Fall foliage is often spectacular and always enjoyable.

Johnson City's ties to Appalachian Mountain's bootlegging activities in the 1920s, fueled by the presence of part-time resident Al Capone, led the city to gain the nickname of "Little Chicago."
