    Rene is an 8 year veteran of the IPC management team. As executive director for the Chicago and New England regions, Rene directs IPC Hospitalists who provide inpatient care in various practices around the greater Chicago area, as well as heading our recent expansion into Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Before joining IPC, Rene worked for 2 Catholic health systems in Washington where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of 9 clinics with 20 employed providers. He also was the regional vice president of payer and network development for Catholic Health Initiative West based in Tacoma and vice president of business development for Anaheim Memorial Hospital in California.  Prior to this, Rene was chief executive officer of Good Samaritan Medical Practice Association and vice president of marketing and business development for the Hospital of Good Samaritan, both in Los Angeles.

    Jeff Piontek joined IPC in April 2008. Prior to joining IPC, Jeff worked at various levels of not for profit administration for 15 years, most recently as executive director of YMCAs in the Chicago and Cincinnati areas. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University.

    Sylvia Mosquera joined IPC in April of 2007 with 7 years of healthcare experience. Prior to joining IPC, Sylvia was the recruitment specialist for IPHCA, a non-for profit organization representing the community health centers throughout Illinois. Her experience includes aspects of healthcare marketing, recruitment and community relations.  Sylvia received her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Columbia College in Chicago.

Randy Mitchell, a Regional Manager of Physician Staffing for IPC, has nearly 25 years of successful recruiting experience, including profit and not-for-profit physician recruitment. Prior to joining IPC, he was the recruitment director for a large, for-profit hospital system with more than 30 hospitals nationwide. His experience also includes a highly successful seven years recruiting for a private not-for-profit hospital in North Carolina, preceded by a 21-year career in the U.S. Air Force, where he served nearly 15 years with the Recruiting Service. Randy received a degree in personnel administration from the Community College of the Air Forces. He is the past president of the Carolina Association of Physician Services and an active member of ASPR.
